Winner of several previous Methodical Madness contests, Will Smith.
By now you should all be familiar with The Snowboard Spring break week. For those that aren’t, the event is held on the picturesque Kaunertal Glacier and is a chance for the UK scene to ensemble en masse to sample next years product, catch up with old friends and of course drink and party. Whilst the weather was horrifically bad for the first couple of days, good spirits remained and eventually the resort was blessed with sun, slush and even powder for the majority of the week. Spring Break offers a chance to round up the season in style and here is what captured our attention throughout the week.
Sparrow Knox might be one of the most watchable people in snowboarding. Always unpredictable, full of energy, an incredible rider and loose as a goose.
JJ winning the Dragon Methodical Madness best method award with this textbook classic.
Si Belson repping.
Burton UK’s Lizzie and Dan, sandwiching 32’s Dale.
Tim and Lucy Warwood’s daughter Lilah, keeping everyone entertained throughout the week. Lilah might be a rock, paper, scissors world champion in the future.
Gareth Andrews has been concentrating on studies this winter but still has the skills to pull out classic methods on powder boards.
Snowboarders from all over came to see what the fuss was about. Here Steve Küberl, Simon Gruber, Ethan Morgan and Flo Corzelius come to say hi.
Scott Todd has been distributing since 97 and handling Rome since it’s arrival in 2001. Cut him open and see that he bleeds Rome.
Angus Leith aka Goose was riding with two broken wrists but still threw down hammers. One of Scotland’s finest.
Cleay and Rubby from Switchback and Bataleon in the house.
Chris Chatt stoked to be headhunted by adidas snowboarding. These boots are sick
None of this would be possible without Ian and Helen. They work tirelessly to make sure everyone has a great time. Thank you!
