Lauri Heiskari chats: Finishing his pro career, life in Southern Cali, his Video Gangs Part, Forum, working with Makia, motorbike clubs and much more in this exclusive interview.
We caught up with Eddie Wall to discuss, turning pro, the forum team, the current state of snowboarding, how his pro career ended and much more.
Forum’s first team video “The Resistance” by Mack Dawg Productions was groundbreaking on it’s release in 2001 and remains many people’s favourite snowboard vid. Head honcho, Peter Line added random video graphics, matched his pro model board to his Fear and Loathing acting antics and threw down hammers.
The top 20 iconic board graphics of all time in no particular order, is your favourite listed?
Hands up if you had extra long tassels on your earflap beanie after Lauri’s opener from Video Gangs.
One of the highlights of 1999 for many was Mack Dawg Production’s Technical Difficulties. The first time many of us got a glimpse of the newly created Forum team and Peter Line leading the charge of freestyle progression.
Forum’s second full team release True Life was groundbreaking when it came out in 2002. Chris Dufficy had this incredible and now iconic opener part and this must be one of the most loved sections of all time.
